Greg Allan
President
Greg joined San Diego Pension as their CFO in 1996, he has worked in the Public Accounting and Finance field for over 35 years. He then became President of San Diego Pension in 2008. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a major in both Accounting and Business Management. He received his CPA certificate in 1980 and worked in the Public Accounting field for 7 years till he decided to move into the private sector.

Aaron Dorsey
Director of Consulting Services
Aaron joined San Diego Pension Consultants in 2017. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from San Jose State University in 1994. With over 23 years of sales, marketing and consulting management experience, Aaron brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Most recently, he ran a very successful insurance employee benefits company which allowed him to become well versed in the retirement services industry.
Aaron resides in North County San Diego, with his wife, two boys and golden retriever. In his spare time, he volunteers coaching youth sports in San Diego. He also enjoys golfing, surfing and going to the beach with his family.

Jim Peterson, ERPA, APA
Vice President
Jim joined San Diego Pension Consultants in 1985. With over 34 years of industry experience, Jim is viewed as an expert in both defined benefit and defined contribution plan administration. Though not an actuary, he is well versed in the complicated actuarial principals that are the backbone of defined benefit and cash balance plans. Jim received his Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) credential through the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) in 1990. In 2009, the Internal Revenue Service introduced a new designation to allow certified pension professionals to represent taxpayers in front of the IRS. Jim was one of the first professionals in the country to obtain the Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) credential in 2009.
